Customer Reviews
Truly lightweight!
I bought this kit for a backpacker trip through Costa Rica. It truly was light weight and took up little room in the backpack. I had to add a couple of things, like small scissors for cutting moleskin, and a few extra bandages, and there was plenty of room to put these in the kit. I have not had opportunity to test the water tight aspect of the kit, but based on my satisfaction so far, I have no doubts it will live up to this claim as well.
Med kit
This is an excellent addition to the pack on my bike (motorcycle). The only thing I needed to add was a bee sting/bug bite ointment.
Great little kit
I took this kit with me on a trip to the Peruvian Amazon. While I didn't get a chance to use everything included (fortunately), the tweezers came in handy for removing splinters and the Band-Aids and Motrin were also useful. One thing that separates this first-aid kit from most others is that everything comes sealed in two heavy-duty zip-lock-style plastic bags inside the outer pouch. While these are great because they keep everything waterproof, they are a bit of a hassle to seal and unseal every time you want to remove something from the case. That said, the kit certainly has the essentials in a compact size and if necessary the waterproofing can be a real plus.
